Ereaga Beach (Algorta, Getxo)
Ereaga Beach is located in the town of Getxo, between Algorta Old Port and the Arriluce jetty, with Mount Serantes and Portugalete in the background and surrounded by stately homes and mansion houses.
It is a well connected urban beach with good facilities that is ideal not just for bathing and sunshine, but also for doing a variety of activities such as bodyboarding, surfing, kite-surfing, canoeing or playing volleyball. Although Ereaga is undoubtedly better known for its beach football tournaments which are held there every year.

HOW TO GET THERE

Two options: - “Neguri” Metro stop. After this, a walk of some 500 metres to the beach. - “Algorta” Metro stop. Walk a little less than 1 km and take the elevator to the beach. |

There are a number of bus services that will take us to our destination. |

The BI-637 road, “La Avanzada". Once in Getxo, we take the Marqués de Arriluce e Ibarra Promenade towards the El Abra Marina. |

We take the “Ereaga Elevator” in María Cristina square in the Algorta district. |
