Gorrondatxe – Azkorri Beach (Andra Mari, Getxo)
Gorrondatxre Beach in the Andra Mari district is probably the most exceptional beach in the town of Getxo. It is a sand bed difficult to get to and far from Getxo centre, although very close to the neighbouring village of Berango. Protected by rugged cliffs, it stands out because it is covered in grass and conserves part of its own dune system. This beach holds a "golden nail", an award distinguishing sites that are particularly singular in terms of their stratigraphic properties. Alternatively, its strong breakers make it ideal for surfing. Furthermore, it is a beach where nudism is allowed.
