An educational experience for the whole family to discover the Bizkaia Flysch
'Bizkaia Flysch with the Family' is an outdoor educational activity in Getxo, designed for families to explore the Bizkaia Flysch and discover, in a hands-on and interactive way, the secrets of coastal geology and the relationship between humans and the natural environment.
The route is set within the flysch landscape of the Getxo coast, a unique setting where the terrain helps visitors understand how the coastline was formed and how human activities influence the environment. Through customised explanations and hands-on activities, the experience encourages observation, curiosity and shared learning between adults and children.
The content and activities are adapted to the season, making the most of the natural resources available at the time, ensuring each outing is a unique experience. An ideal opportunity to learn as a family, connect with nature and discover one of Bizkaia's most iconic geological landscapes.
