

Master Class at the restaurante Tamarises Izarra
Chef Javier Izarra and his team have organised a creative cooking workshop where you can learn some of the most innovative recipes in Basque cuisine, using cutting-edge modern techniques such as spherification, gelation and siphon cooking.
Who is Javier Izarra?
Javier Izarra runs the restaurant that bears his name. He is a chef who has a great respect for raw materials and tremendous enthusiasm for seasonal, produce-market-based cooking. He is renowned for his skill with traditional Basque cuisine, to which he adds his own innovative touches to enhance the flavours of each dish.
His broad experience in the world of fine cuisine comes from his participation with Fernando Canales Etxanobe in several projects in Bizkaia and Madrid, such as the Etxanobe and Akebaso restaurants.
