The Environmental Classroom is located in a restored farmhouse very near the Bolue Wetlands.
It is a facility for providing information and raising environmental awareness that has been created to foster Sustainable Development in our area.
An special programme is offered with activities aimed at the public in general:
Guided tours:
- A guided tour with explanations of the history, development and current status of the Bolue wetland, with details of the biodiversity to be found in its ecosystem.
- A guided tour heading towards Santa Coloma. Along with environmental issues, historical topics related to the Valley, its population, its architecture, its past as milling area and the factional conflicts that took place there are also covered.
Self-guided Gymkhana:
In this Self-guided Gymkhana through the Bolue wetland, participating families and/or groups will have an excellent opportunity to learn more about this ecosystem through diverse outdoor games and activities. Participants will have to stop at each of the indicated points and play a short game or complete an activity before moving on to the next one.
Children´s workshops:
Craft workshops aimed at the youngest members of the family, featuring a range of content related to environmental and sustainability issues.
