DalecandELA is holding the third DalecandELA FEST event in the Old Port with Tarque & la asociación del Riff, Santero y los muchachos and  Burning as the headliners.

On the weekend of 20, 21 and 22 September, Getxo will become a stage for solidarity in an event for all audiences, with free admission, which in addition to music will combine artistic and sporting activities, such as the solidarity swimming challenge "Travesía Getxo por la ELA" (Getxo Crossing for ALS), children's activities and awareness-raising and the best gastronomy, which will be aimed at raising awareness of ALS and raising funds for research and support for sufferers, on the esplanade of the Old Port of Algorta.

The festival will feature performances by more than 21 national and regional music groups, who will take to the stage to delight the audience with their songs, raising a cry against ALS.

In addition, artistic creation activities have been organised in which to channel positions or feelings around ALS and which will make it possible to raise awareness among a younger audience. Art, linked to this association since its beginnings, will play a major role at this festival.

Sport is another of the key areas in DalecandELA's fight against this disease as a vehicle for communication and as a more than recommendable practice and will be present throughout the weekend: a climbing wall, a zip line, a morning yoga session, paddle surfing, a sailing regatta and rugby activities, as well as a swim across the waters of the Abra. The latter will have two routes for different levels through the waters of Ereaga and the Old Port. All these sporting activities will take place during the event with the aim of raising awareness of the difficulty that ALS poses for mobility, and the proceeds from the various challenges will be donated by the collaborating organisations for the fight against ALS.
